‘Abhayanand Super- 30’ is the name of a social welfare programme in Patna (Bihar), which is known for its academic achievements and financial support to the economically weaker sections of society. Established on April 26th, 2015 by Sh. Amarendra Dhari Singh, MP in the memory of his beloved parents, Late Urmila Singh and Late Pratap Dhari Sinha. It was co-founded by Shri Abhayanand (Ex. DGP of Bihar) who is also the academic mentor of Abhayanand Super 30.

A.D. Singh is a Delhi- based businessman hailing from his ancestral village Ain-Kha, Dulhin Bazaar, in Paliganj sub division of Patna district in Bihar. He is engaged in variety of philanthropic activities nationwide under the banner of “Urmila Singh-Pratap Dhari Sinha Foundation”. This trust fully run and managed by Shri A.D. Singh and does not take any kind of financial aid from any other person or organization. All expenses are fully met by Sh. Singh.

Today, ‘AbhayanandSuper -30’ epitomizes Sh. Singh’s love for the land and his roots and his desire to give back to society. The foundation work in the education sector is aimed towards giving opportunities to the best and the brightest amongst us- thus empowering those who are in financial need and allowing them to reach for the sky. 

The institute admitted its first batch on April 26th, 2015 itself as a co-educational and non- denominational institution. Its only objective is “Transformation of Lives” of poor families by

providing them opportunity to get into IITs, NITs, AIIMS and various other reputed institutes of India and eventually helping their families to achieve a better life. This institute started with the ideology of Shri AD. Singh of “Giving Back to Society”.

Abhayanand Super 30 is a fully free residential programme of 2 years for meritorious students who can’t afford to study in any kind of paid institutes. This Foundation provides free Teaching, Boarding and Lodging to such students. It was first started for free preparation of engineering only, but soon after, during2018, the Foundation expanded its wings to include free preparation for medical entrance exams also.

First batch of medical appeared inNET 2020.In the first batch of 14students, two students were admitted to government medical college in their first attempt. This would serve as a great motivation for the next batches. Three batches of engineering have appeared till now. Since June 2020, 45 students were admitted in IIT, 34 students in NIT, and many others in various reputed universities and colleges.

Since march 2021 ‘Abhayanand Super – 30’ was renamed as ‘Urmila -Pratap Super-30’
